    Front Desk Receptionist

Gisselle’s journey through fitness and athletics has been a testament to her dedication and drive. From an early age, she was inspired by her brother’s encouragement to be active, which led her to explore a range of sports. Her competitive spirit shone through as she excelled in high school as a tri-sport athlete, participating in wrestling, swimming, and water polo. While she had a deep love for swimming, she chose to continue wrestling while in college, where she learned invaluable lessons in discipline and accountability. Her coach's guiding principle, "your actions have consequences," has remained a key influence, shaping her approach to interactions and personal growth.

Wrestling also introduced Gisselle to the world of lifting, a passion that evolved into a love for powerlifting. She approaches powerlifting with a blend of precision and enthusiasm, continually pushing her limits and exploring new techniques to achieve strength and performance goals. Her dedication to lifting is complemented by her appreciation for hiking, a pursuit that allows her to connect with nature while staying active. Hiking offers Gisselle a balance of physical challenge and mental relaxation, making it an integral part of her fitness regimen.

In addition to her athletic pursuits, Gisselle has made a significant impact as a swim coach. Her coaching career is characterized by her enthusiasm for teaching and her ability to connect with athletes of all levels. She takes pride in helping swimmers enhance their techniques, build confidence, and achieve their goals, all while fostering a supportive and positive environment. During her time as a swim coach, she also explored the world of EMT, and was attending Foothill Community College.

Initially pursuing a major in kinesiology with aspirations of becoming a physical therapist, Gisselle later transitioned to a degree in business administration. She aims to leverage her newly learned perception of business to enhance her career in physical therapy, with plans to return to school for further studies once she completes her business degree. Previous to working at Red Dot Fitness, Gisselle was working a dual front desk/coaching position at Crunch Fitness. Working the front desk, she hopes to continue to fill her cup with new knowledge and is looking forward to gaining new experiences as a part of the RDF Team.
