Dr. Danielle Diaz

    Danielle "Dani" Diaz

Dr. Danielle Diaz grew up in Caruthers, California, where she participated in a variety of sports before discovering her passion of racing motorcycles at the age of nine.  She began racing flat track in 2002 and for seven years raced all throughout the West Coast.  In 2010 Dr. Dani transitioned into road racing and earned her professional road racing license in 2012.  She has competed in club level and professional AMA and MotoAmerica road races across the country ever since.

While undergoing physical therapy for a knee injury in 2012, Dr. Dani was surrounded by other athletes recovering from similar injuries and realized her passion for working with and around athletes.  She was already on the path towards pursuing a career in healthcare, and felt a desire to focus on athletes.

Dr. Dani completed her undergraduate studies at California State University of Fresno earning a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis on Exercise Science.  Her intentions were to pursue an education in Physical Therapy when she was introduced to a deeper understanding of chiropractic through a close friend who was a chiropractic student at the time. Since she was eight, her goals had been to work in healthcare to help individuals get out of pain, improve their performance, and live a more active and healthier lifestyle.  The conservative nature of chiropractic combined with the attitude towards encouraging movement and activity encompasses everything she had been searching for.  This led to her decision to attend Palmer College of Chiropractic West in San Jose, CA.

Towards the end of her Chiropractic education, Dr. Dani had the pleasure of treating America’s veterans during a five-month student internship at the Central Iowa VA Hospital.  During this experience she was also able to attend neuroscience pain education classes and participate in inter-professional rotations throughout the VA hospital.  Following her student internship, she graduated from Palmer in 2019 with Cum Laude honors and was accepted into the Pi Tau Delta Chiropractic Honors Society.

Since graduating, Dr. Dani enjoys spending her free time as one of the San Francisco Revolver Ultimate Frisbee team’s sideline doctors, continuing to ride her motorcycle whenever she can, and going on runs and hikes with her Malti-Poo, Harley.
