Born in Guadalajara, Mexico and raised in San Jose, CA, Alan developed a passion for filmmaking and started working on film sets by the age of 13. When he reached his mid-teens, he was hired by NBC and Telemundo to shoot their commercials.
After leaving NBC, Alan started his own company where he created commercials and marketing campaigns for The Monterey Bay Aquarium, The City of Santa Clara, and ROKU. He won two ADDY Awards in the categories of “Creative Concept” and “Best 60 Second Spot.” He was credited with two major photography publications with Natural Muscle Magazine and Centrum, and received a Cinematography Award at the Third World Independent Film Festival. He has also created numerous music videos with the top four consisting of over 20 million combined views.
Alan has always had a passion for sports, primarily boxing, soccer, and football which he played through high school. However, he always struggled with his weight, reaching a peak weight of 400 lbs during his senior year. This was when he discovered his other passion: fitness. Through his own research, hard work, and dedication, he has successfully lost and kept off over 150 lbs.
Alan’s passion for marketing and fitness led him to the 49ersFit gym, where he created promotional videos and was the longest standing Ops Member of the month. In addition, he obtained his FMT Kinesiology Taping Certification from RockTape and Whole Body Cryotherapy Operator Certification. Alan’s goal is to combine his marketing skills and knowledge of the fitness industry to help people become more passionate about self-improvement, and he seeks to inspire those who are looking to make a permanent lifestyle change.
